Forever bags for you!!!!!

Welcome to my new Blog!
I decided to make this blog to show and sell my bags.
* My bags are designed and hand-made by myself *
Each one is "OOAK" bag, personalized as you wish, you can choose the fabrics, pattern, etc. and I can embroider your name on it!

I will put here photos of all the materials I have, fabrics, buttons, trims, laces ribbons. I can print fabrics as cotton, linen and silk with any kind of picture and use them to make your bag.

Just tell me what you want and I will send you the price.
You just pay for it if you like it!

I sell worlwide and payment is made by Paypal. I send everything by signed mail, no surface mail, unless you ask for, but in this case at your own risk.

My last bag

My last bag was made of denim and a Portuguese "chita" fabric. I really like it.

Beach bag for Natália

Finally I finished my 3rd bag! It is a huge bag for the beach!!!! Inside there are two pockets, one with a ziper and other with "rick-rack". Outside the same, two pockets on both sides of the bag, one for the mobile phone with invisible closure, the other for documents, money, keys...
The bag closes with a ziper at the top, has a plastic base for structure and four metal feet. I hope you like it ( I have a few "holes" on my fingers, denim is hard to hand-sew LOL).

Alcobaça Fabrics

These two, above are not Alcobaça fabrics, but I like the patterns
and the colors!

Alcobaça fabric, blue of Alcobaça, bird pattern

All of the Alcobaça fabrics are 100% cotton, printed patterns and are still used for home decor.

The fabrics below are called chitas, they are also 100% cotton printed fabrics, but less expensives. They were used for making clothes, by the lower classes.

Trims....

Hera are the trims I bought during my short holidays. Some are really old, and I like those bias with tiny flowers, and the bias with a crocheted border. The letters and numbers are used to identify clothes etc, but I want to use them just for embelish.

New fabrics and trims!

Last week-end I was out of Lisbon and I managed to buy some beautiful trims, a few really vintage, and genuine cotton Portuguese fabrics, known as "Tecidos de Alcobaça" and "chitas".

Alcobaça is a beautiful old town with a fantastic monastery, which main building was built in 1153 and during centuries several buildings were added. If you want to see more about this beautiful monastery go to http://www.360portugal.com/Distritos.QTVR/Leiria.VR/Patrimonio/Alcobaca/MosteiroAlcobaca.html

I will put here a post about the Portuguese Alcobaça fabrics history, and photos
I will sell here fatquarters!!!!
